“To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the trade-in value provided by the Hertz Philadelphia Sales Department. During my recent interaction, I was offered a trade-in value of $100 for my 2016 Jeep Wrangler, which is both irrelevant and grossly misaligned with the fair market value of my vehicle.
I believe this valuation lacks transparency and accuracy, raising concerns about the practices employed by the sales team. Such an offer undermines customer trust and reflects poorly on the professionalism expected from a reputable company like Hertz.
1. A detailed explanation of how this trade-in value was calculated never given.
2. Steps Hertz is taking to ensure that trade-in valuations are reasonable and transparent in the future for anyone.
They offered me $16,300 in Fast pass and make me to drive from NJ to their location (false promise)
I would happy to buy all your Jeep for $100”

“Rented a vehicle there and they were friendly, prompt, helpful, and easy to work with. This is also a car rental location for Hertz, Thrifty and Dollar. I have no complaint about the experience. I will however tell the customer that the signage out front does not reflect the Dollar and Thrifty rental location. Coming from the airport in a taxi made that a little challenge as we and the driver passed the location several times. It does mention Hertz Rental and Hertz car sales. If you aren’t aware they are part of the same company it might cause a few minutes of irritation with explaining where you are going to a third party ride service. If you put it in maps as Dollar or Thrifty rental it will try and take you to the airport location which is on the same street but several miles apart. Just an FYI, and those circumstances were beyond anyone at this locations control. Thank you for the clean comfortable car and top notch service”

“Great way to buy a used car. No haggling or pressure. Just set your expectations appropriately- you are buying a car that was used for short term rentals. It will likely have cosmetic issues but Hertz takes good care of it mechanically.”

“I had a really wonderful experience at Hertz Car Dealership in Philadelphia. Tim was great to work with. He really made us feel at ease during the whole process. He was very kind and friendly, and really very different from other dealerships I have worked with in the past. Not pushy at all, very straightforward. I left the dealership with my Black Tesla Model 3 and a big smile on my face, all thanks to this exceptional salesman's dedication and expertise. I highly recommend them to anyone in search of a great car-buying experience! Enjoyed working with Tim, he was very professional and took care of all our questions and concerns.”

“I have now involved a dealer fraud attorney. Zero stars. I purchased a vehicle through Rent2Buy and was placed with this location for the transaction. There is no record with my state MVC that plate paperwork has been filed by the Hertz sales team for this vehicle. I have been reaching out to the sales manager to receive any status or receipt for the official plates, and the temporary plates have expired TODAY after 90 days. Every time I have called during business hours, no one picks up. My emails to the sales manager have largely gone unanswered, with one response from a month ago that has a typo. I had a much more pleasant experience years ago with a different rental dealership, and look forward to completing ownership of my current vehicle (through litigation it seems) so I do not have to ever do business with Hertz again.”
