When Mercedes-Benz renamed most of its models to create more logic behind its lineup, the SLK roadster became the SLC roadster in 2017. The change coincided with a refresh of this two-seat sports car, including updated styling, fresh technology, and a new engine. The SLC 300 features a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, while the AMG SLC 43 has a turbocharged V6. Naturally, the AMG model has additional performance tuning to ensure drivers can put its added power to good use. The AMG SLC 43 increased horsepower in 2019, and Mercedes produced a Final Edition version of this model in 2020. Otherwise, the SLC saw few changes during its four-year run. Mercedes discontinued it after the 2020 model year.
