The Mercedes EQE Sedan is a midsize electric car. It went on sale in 2023, offering up to 305 miles of driving range on a fully charged battery. An AMG EQE variant traded driving range for performance, and according to Mercedes, it could accelerate to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, nearly half the time it took the base EQE 350+ to reach the same speed. Half of the EQE Sedans have 4Matic all-wheel drive with an electric motor at each axle. However, the most affordable version of the car, the EQE 350+, is rear-wheel drive. The automaker says the EQE Sedan can recharge to 80 percent in 32 minutes using a 170-kW DC fast-charging station. Plug it in overnight using a 240-volt/32-amp home charger, and it takes 9.5 hours to fully recharge the battery.
