Car Overview
Maserati Quattroporte
Translate the Maserati Quattroporte sedan’s name, and it means “four doors” in Italian. The first Quattroporte arrived in the early 1960s, and since then, Maserati has used the name on six generations of the luxury performance car. Maserati returned the model to the U.S. market for the 2004 model year, when the fifth-generation car debuted with an alluring design and Ferrari-sourced V8 power. The sixth-generation Quattroporte replaced it in 2013, a larger and more sophisticated but less seductive sedan offering twin-turbocharged V6 and V8 engines. With base prices in six-figure territory, the Quattroporte is an emotionally-charged alternative to standard-issue flagship sedans.
