Buick has enjoyed success with small SUVs and should expect the same with the Buick Envista. The first-generation Encore proved popular for its upscale design, attractive price, overall utility, and good fuel economy. In 2024, Buick replaced the Encore with the Envista while keeping the slightly larger Encore GX in the lineup. The Envista features a fastback appearance and wears new Buick styling, including the company’s redesigned logo. It is made in China and has a turbocharged 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine powering its front wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The Envista can hold five people, but four adults would be more comfortable. Behind the back seat, the SUV has 20.7 cu-ft of trunk room. Maximum cargo space measures 42 cu-ft.
