Hyundai added features such as a panoramic sunroof, a 12-speaker Bose stereo, and a navigation system with a 10.3-inch touchscreen to the Sonata SEL Plus for the 2022 model year. The trim lineup also includes the SE, SEL, Limited, and N Line. Three engines are available, ranging in output from 180 to 290 horsepower, and the EPA-estimated mileage ranges from 28/38/32 mpg city/highway/combined to 23/33/27 mpg. Hyundai also sells a more fuel-efficient hybrid version, but we discuss it separately. The Sonata midsize sedan seats five people and provides 16 cubic-feet of cargo space in its trunk.
