Chevrolet sells the Colorado midsize pickup truck in extended-cab and crew-cab body styles, and you can choose from short and standard bed lengths. A four-cylinder making 200 horsepower is standard, with a 308-hp V6 and 181-hp diesel rounding out the engine range. Fuel-economy ratings range from 20/30/23 mpg city/highway/combined to 16/18/17 mpg, depending on engine and transmission. The maximum towing capacity is 7,700 pounds, and the maximum payload is 1,500 pounds. Trim levels include Work Truck, LT, Z71, and ZR2. For the 2022 model year, Chevrolet made the Trail Boss package — which includes skid plates and a suspension-leveling kit — available on LT and Z71 models.
