The days when all-electric drivetrains were reserved for small, wedge-shaped hatchbacks are clearly behind us. As mainstream automotive manufacturers inch toward the goal of electrifying their entire lineups, pickup trucks are next in line to get plugged in.

Below is a look at all the EV trucks that are due to hit U.S. streets by 2026, including a breakdown of key stats such as price, battery range, horsepower, towing capacity, bed length, and other standout features.

This list focuses only on yet-to-be-released trucks, so models that are already on the market, such as the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, Hummer EV Pickup and Tesla Cybertruck, do not appear.

Following on the heels of the Ford F-150 Lightning, several automakers have been working to electrify their classic pickup nameplates. Chevrolet is no exception. It plans to introduce the Silverado EV with its 2024 lineup. With deliveries expected to begin later this year, we have a firm grasp on what the production version will bring to the table, and the stats are impressive.

A 450-mile estimated range, for instance, puts the Silverado close to the top of this segment, as does its 10,000-pound towing capacity. The base model has been dubbed the WT (for Work Truck) and brings with it a $52,000 starting price, a 5-foot-11-inch bed, and 510 horsepower.

The top-of-the-line, performance-oriented RST version boosts output to a blistering 754 horsepower. Chevy has also teased that a fleet truck counterpart capable of hauling 20,000 pounds is in the works.

Positioned as the Chevrolet Silverado EV's more luxurious sibling, the 2024 GMC Sierra EV retains much of the Chevy's underpinnings but at a loftier price. Currently, the only version of the Sierra EV available for order is the Denali Edition 1, which starts at a staggering $109,000. GMC says other, less expensive versions will be introduced for the 2025 model year, but for now, the Sierra commands top dollar. It boasts 754 horsepower, 400 miles of range, and a 9,500-pound towing capacity.

Stellantis is not one to shrink from competition, and now the parent company of Ram is working on its own entry into the EV truck market. The Ram 1500 REV is slated to arrive in time for the 2025 model year and might be the most competitive offering from any of the Big Three carmakers.

The truck's available 500-mile range and 14,000-pound towing capacity should make it one of the most capable electric trucks available. The Ram 1500 Revolution Concept, unveiled in early 2023, previewed a double-pass-through storage system that connected the bed, interior, and front trunk, meaning the truck was able to accommodate items up to 18 feet long with the tailgate closed. It's unclear whether that unique feature was carried through to the actual production model. If it was, it would give the 1500 EV the largest capacity bed storage system in its class.

Fisker Alaska

Advertised arrival: early 2025

Noted car designer Henrik Fisker is hard at work building the second iteration of his eponymous EV brand. The first outing produced the ambitious, flawed, and undeniably beautiful Karma, yet was short-lived. This time around, the Danish CEO seems to be here to stay.

The all-new Alaska is the brand's first foray into the pickup truck space, meant as an EV alternative to other smaller-scale rigs such as the Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz. Starting around $45,000, the Alaska boasts a maximum available 340-mile range and a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.9 seconds.

The Alaska also touts an adjustable storage system, dubbed the Houdini Partition, which extends the truck bed from 4.5 feet to a class-leading 7.5 feet by collapsing the rear seats — and, if you drop the tailgate, that figure increases to 9.2 feet. This makes the Alaska's effective bed longer than those of competitors such as the Ford F-150 Lightning and Rivian R1T.

Volkswagen Scout

Advertised arrival: late 2026

One of the more surprising developments in the world of EVs came in 2022 when it was announced that the iconic Scout nameplate — formerly used by the American machinery company International Harvester — would be resurrected for an all-electric utility vehicle by none other than Volkswagen. This new-gen version of the Scout brand serves as an independent subsidiary of VW, and will launch both an SUV and a pickup model out of its plant in Blythewood, South Carolina.

Not much else has been shared about Scout's upcoming products, but we do know the models will be built on a unique platform, entirely different from any other VW EV. Prices are expected to be in the $40,000 range.

All vehicle pricing includes MSRP plus destination charges (set at the time of publication), and will be rounded to the nearest thousand.
