“I purchased a Land Rover discovery right before Christmas and about three weeks later the check engine light came on. I took it back to the dealership, waited four hours and was told that a purge valve would need to be replaced at a cost of $600. When I raised the concern That we had just purchased the vehicle They finally Agreed to Bring the cost down to $300. This was after a lengthy discussion with the owner who never came out to speak to us directly. They then kept the vehicle for four days to perform the work and never called me, but simply sent a text message when the car was ready. Overall, our personal experience was not great. Edited after response from owner: yes we understand there is a “line” for repairs however my point is that your customer service over the whole matter was disappointing. We didn’t buy from CarMax, we bought a luxury vehicle from a luxury dealership. I am also aware that we were 5 days over your limit and 400 miles (100 of those getting the vehicle back to you because as you know we do not live close, also the reason it took me a few extra days to find time to bring in, but I did reach out in advance to let you know what was going on). Had you tried working with us from the start it would have been a different experience but unfortunately what you failed to mention was how much time and energy it took for you to even assist us slightly on such an expensive repair in such a short amount of time of purchase. And yes, I also understand you can’t call everyone but taking 4 days to repair and knowing what all took place the day we brought it in, common courtesy would have been a call vs a text.”

“Bought a 2013 Z4 last week from Michs Foreign cars. It was a great experience. I live in Myrtle Beach so we drove 4.5hrs to buy the car. The salesman Jeff was nice and gave me plenty time to test drive car and check it out. The entire staff is great and very personable. The finance process was seamless with no issues. I had 1 small issues with the car after 1 day and They went out of their way to have the issue fixed the next day. I would recommend buying from this dealer. They are worth the drive there. Ask for Jeff . He was great to work with.”
